Fall 2010 Meeting--Call for Proposals

The Fall Meeting of the AMSGNY will take place on Saturday, October 16th at Wagner College on Staten Island. The theme for the meeting is "Connections," which may be interpreted in many ways.
Interested AMSGNY members may submit 150-200 word proposals on this theme by August 1, 2010. Follow these guidelines:
1. Send the proposals to both DrJSDailey@aol.com and jonathan.waxman@gmail.com.
2. Do not send attachments; paste the proposal into the e-mail.
3. Write "Proposal AMS GNY Fall Meeting" in the subject line
4. Include your name, phone number and e-mail address at the bottom of the proposal.
5. Only members in good standing may submit proposals. Go to http://ams-gny-membership.blogspot.com/ if you need to renew your membership.
The college is easily accessible by both car and public transportation. There is a bus that departs from the R station at 86th Street in Brooklyn, or you can take the Staten Island ferry, which is free. The college has a shuttle bus that meets each ferry and goes directly to the campus.
